Photos for Lust Magazine

During the early part of the century, I was the co-editor for "Lust Magazine", which was an e-zine that focused on carnal nature and human sexuality.  It's since gone offline, but an archive book is available.

I also provided a lot of the photographs for the publication.  I would see what the articles du jour were and then arrange for photographic accompaniment.  Sometimes we would take "stock shots" for articles that we were told were in the works.  Some made it in, others didn't.

The "Carnal Sutra" was my regularly featured Q&A column.  I was told that I really needed a photograph, so I grabbed my favorite sari and attempted to pose.  Contrary to popular belief, I really don't like getting in front of the camera.  I think that was painfully obvious that day!

Duckie also gave us a hand every now and then.  On the left is a photo where I literally pulled him out of bed and asked him to pose for a tight deadline.  The article was on the myths of masturbation.

On the right was a photo he wanted to accompany his own article that he wrote about men's obsession with penis size.  Well, this photo is actually one of the out-takes.

Garith also helped out quite a bit.  Here he and Donut pose for a stock shot involving cross-dressing fetishes.

Spectrophilia was a fun one to do.  Since I wasn't sure which definition the article was going to cover (either ghosts or mirrors), we combined the two.  The left is the shot as it was meant to be.  The right is how we set it up.

On the left we balance Cleo for a "floating orgasm".  The darkness hides all of us crouched under her!  Then, because we felt goofy, we set up a silly Spectro shot.

Stock shots for a statue fetish that were never used.  But they didn't go to waste... the one on the right is a common profile photo for me now.

The original photo for Necrophilia that was cut from the final product.  It's a shame, because we had sooooo much fun shooting it!

See? Lots of fun with cold water!  I think Garith really enjoyed drowning me over and over again that evening.
