I have always said that being a SPFX makeup artist is the next best thing to being a serial killer. You get all the glory of hacking your victims up and keeping some nice trophies, without all the trouble of trying to get rid of a body! Most of my work has been done for either stage performance or for independent photography projects but I have begun working in film as well.

I've been stabbing myself with needles since I was a teenager and rumor has it that I've gotten pretty good with sewing now. I've worked for several different tourist attractions, theatrical events, and private clients.

Interiors & Sets by Shiva

I have had some formal training in the field, but as with many things I learn - I found a way to twist it more to my liking. My favorite is doing what I call "simulated environments" (CoS folks know them as Total Environments), which are more extreme than regular themed rooms.  I also do theatrical sets for stage and screen.
