I have my roots firmly planted in theatre, and I've always loved the challenge of having to execute a gory effect in one shot because there are no "do overs" with a live audience. I have a feeling I'll be making some directors very happy with doing "one take" FX in film. My husband keeps telling me about this unfamiliar thing called "editing" that will allow me to do things that are impossible for stage. I suppose I'll find out soon enough.
