Send in the Bulldozer!

Remember I told you about the room that was so rotted out that we had to take it out completely? When I was young, this was actually a very large "Florida Room" with lots of windows. Once Bullfeathers came along, it first became a "tiki-biker room" and then just another place to store molds.  It's now slated to be rebuilt and turned into two rooms - a spa room and a guest room.

But for now, I'll take you on a tour of what was once Mr. Bullfeather's little slice of neglected paradise.

How white trash can you possibly get by hanging tattered bike week banners across the ceiling and exposed blue lights overhead?

Anyone like to take a guess as to how many spiders are nested up there?  The amount of webs nearby should give you a pretty good idea.

The funny thing about this big bad biker image? While exploring the back yard we found the remains of a motorcycle hidden in the tall grass. The story we got in regards to it was that a buddy of Mr. Bullfeather's just sort of left it there, and Mr. Bullfeathers thought the best way to get rid of it was to just dump it behind the trailer that he was going to turn into an outdoor cafe. Both the bike and the trailer have rusted there ever since.

This was part of the bar that Mr. Bullfeathers started but never quite finished. Getting all this off the wall is going to be fun.

The bar itself was a nightmare to clean out. I pulled about six dozen glasses covered with slime and rot out from the main unit before the bulldozer arrived. There was also a lot of fisherman's net hanging from the ceiling that provided a perfect anchor for those spider webs that I love so much.

And here was where the long-neglected hot tub sat, a quarter-full of murky water that acted as a nursery for all sorts of insects. Notice the rot around the bottom of the walls.

I wish I had a photo of the wall that was bulldozed. That was truly a scary sight to behold.
