French 1800s gowns are by far my favorite when it comes to historical costume. I just love the freedom to play some of these elaborate gowns have with all the ruffles, beads, adornments, and trimmings. On our wedding night, Duckie and I went out as a notorious French couple in Dangerous Liaisons.
