Yarnings

This is a very special project of mine that I started back in 1994 and I'm still working on it as time allows. 

 

I decided that if I ever had children, I wanted to have an unusual "ABC" setup in the nursery. I didn't want "A is for Apple and B is for Bear". So I decided to use world mythology as my theme.

 

All of these were done completely freehand, and many I dressed up with little add-on adornments. As of March 2007 I am up to T in the alphabet, although I'll admit I don't work on this nearly as much as I'd like to. I haven't even completely decided who U is going to be yet. And yes, I know that there are two characters representing L. I forgot I had done Lilith when I started on Lucifer.... serves me right for taking a year's break!

 

Also included here are a few other pieces, based on tarot cards and other things.
